The Director of Tennis at Score Tennis and Fitness Club. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a Big Eight Doubles Champion. As a junior player he was a semi-finalist at the Australian Junior Open in Singles and Doubles. Barry has coached high level junior tennis for over 20 years. He is known for his expert technical and tactical coaching and for his even demeanor while coaching at junior tournaments. In his career Barry has coached hundreds of junior players who received college scholarships.Barry was Nebraska Junior Chairman and served on the Missouri Valley Tennis Association Junior Council from 1990 to 1995 He was a CTC Head Coach from 1989 to 1992. During 1991/1992, 12 and under National Camp Coach and 12s coach at the National Team Challenge Cup. In 1989 he was the Missouri Valley Boys 16s Intersectional Coach. Barry was chosen as the 2009 Chicago Coach of the Year.
Marcy is Score Tennis and Fitness Club’s Head Tennis Professional. She is a graduate of Purdue University where she was an All American in 1993. As a junior player she was an Indiana High School State Champion, Gateway National Champion and was ranked top 10 in the country. She is currently coaching a national champion, two players ranked in the top 25 in the country and 15 players ranked top 50 in the Midwest. Marcy is a former Chicago District Tennis Association Tournament Director of the Year.
Is a graduate of Drake University where he studied management and finance. He was a two time Missouri Valley Conference Champion an All Conference Player. As a junior player he was a student of Barry King at Score Tennis and Fitness Club. He was a top 10 Midwest ranked player in the 12s thru 18s. He was an outstanding junior tournament player and participated in all of the Super National tournaments and represented the Chicago District Tennis Association winning the Junior Davis Cup and representing the Midwest at the National Intersectional Team Championships. He is the only male tennis player who is inducted into the Nazareth High School Hall of Fame.
Jeff is the former National and Federation Cup Coach for the Chinese Tennis Association. The players that he has coached have won Women's Tennis Association (WTA), Olympic and Grand Slam titles. He has designed and copyrighted a tennis performance institute and has been certified as a Master Professional by the Chinese Tennis Federation. He has a Level 1 Teaching Certificate from IMG Academies and an International Coaches and Players Program Degree from the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. Jeff was a System 5 World Tennis Tour Coach and the Director of U.S. Satellite Camp Operations for the Bollettieri Tennis Academy.
Played college tennis a Moraine Valley Community College. Matt is an effective is an effective teacher at developing an all court game while developing a players weapons.
Graduated form Denison University with a degree in Economics and Spanish. Dan is an enthusiastic and fun tennis teacher who specializes in developing adult players and is a Certified QuickStart Tennis Teacher.
Jeff is currently Score Tennis and Fitness
Clubs Pro Shop Manager. He studied Business Administration at
Loras College. He has an extensive retail management background at a
major retail chain and having owned and managed his own tennis shop.
Jeff leads the Score Adult Drills and
Adult Teams.
Is a native of Iowa who played collegiate tennis at the University of Iowa where he studied history. Gene is an enthusiastic teacher of all levels who effectively communicates the joy of playing tennis.
