Barry King

The Director of Tennis at Score Tennis and Fitness Club. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a Big Eight Doubles Champion. As a junior player he was a semi-finalist at the Australian Junior Open in Singles and Doubles. Barry has coached high level junior tennis for over 20 years. He is known for his expert technical and tactical coaching and for his even demeanor while coaching at junior tournaments. In his career Barry has coached hundreds of junior players who received college scholarships.Barry was Nebraska Junior Chairman and served on the Missouri Valley Tennis Association Junior Council from 1990 to 1995 He was a CTC Head Coach from 1989 to 1992. During 1991/1992, 12 and under National Camp Coach and 12s coach at the National Team Challenge Cup. In 1989 he was the Missouri Valley Boys 16s Intersectional Coach. Barry was chosen as the 2009 Chicago Coach of the Year.

Marcy Hendricks

Marcy is Score Tennis and Fitness Club’s Head Tennis Professional. She is a graduate of Purdue University where she was an All American in 1993. As a junior player she was an Indiana High School State Champion, Gateway National Champion and was ranked top 10 in the country. She is currently coaching a national champion, two players ranked in the top 25 in the country and 15 players ranked top 50 in the Midwest. Marcy is a former Chicago District Tennis Association Tournament Director of the Year.

Matt McClure

Matt played Division I tennis on a full ride scholarship at Drake University. He was a two time Missouri Valley Conference Champion and All Conference Player. He is USPTA Certified P2. He was a top 10 Midwest ranked player in the 12s thru 18s under the tutelage of Barry King here at Score. He was an outstanding junior tournament player and participated in all of the Super National tournaments and represented the Chicago District Tennis Association winning the Junior Davis Cup and representing the Midwest at the National Intersectional Team Championships. He is the only male tennis player who is inducted into the Nazareth High School Hall of Fame. Matt has his A.C.E. personal training certification.

Matt Tanulanond

Matt played college tennis at Moraine Valley Community College. Matt’s forte is teaching an all court game while developing a players' weapons. Matt’s commitment to his players is second to none.

Dan Koucky

Dan’s enthusiastic teaching is thoroughly enjoyed by Score’s patrons through our young tots all the way up to our adults. Dan is USPTA Certified and is also a certified Quickstart Tennis Pro.
